Knowledge-Base in ELT Education: A Narrative-Driven Discussion

چکیده

Knowledge and experience, mediated by reflection, are essential components in teacher education development programs. This paper discusses core elements that have guided ELT the last years analyzes case of five English language educators who –in Colombian context—reflect on their own pedagogical practices through narrative. I guide discussion four probing questions generate a reflective overview teachers’ knowledge-base, identity construction, decision-making when it comes to localizing knowledge. reflection uncovers educators’ gains challenges as becomes input for those others at different stages teaching career.
